Launch of m2mGLobal Alliance - Wednesday, 24 September 2008

Mach Communications and Worldwide Partners combine to form the m2mGlobal® Alliance - providing Seamless Worldwide M2M Connectivity Solutions

Melbourne Australia.—September 25, 2008 — Mach Communications today announced the launch of the m2mGlobal Alliance, addressing the needs of Australasian m2m solution providers, OEMs and ASPs to immediately expand their business in overseas markets previously only available through roaming, or expensive-to-support individual agreements in expanded international markets.

“Australian companies are always looking for better ways to market their products overseas. The m2mGlobal Alliance is an ideal way for our customers seeking to establish their services internationally” said Shane Murphy CEO of Mach Communications.

“We examined their needs closely and concluded that the ability to provide focused, dedicated, M2M services in overseas markets needed both directly connected carrier service delivery and local system support. Technical and support competency, cost effectiveness and local service capability are keys to the success of M2M services. Through the m2mGlobal Alliance, our customers benefit from one-stop support, proven capability, consistent platforms and a great service price,” concluded Murphy.

The m2mGlobal Alliance, founded in conjunction with leading M2M providers in markets from Europe to the USA and Australasia, harnesses the skills and long-term relationships of specialized organizations able to deliver a broad set of GSM/GPRS services in world markets. Mach Communications, Australia’s leading specialist m2m network provider, has worked closely over more than a year with Kore Telematics Inc, Wireless Maingate AB and Vianet Ltd before launching this new service capability.

Vodafone 3G and EDGE - December 08 - Wednesday, 9 July 2008

Vodafone Australia announced that their 900MHz 3G HSPA network
will be rolled out and switched on in December this year.

As part of this 180 new 2G sites will be built and EDGE will be
deployed across the existing GPRS/2G networks.

For machine to machine markets this is great news - an increase in
3G coverage in regional areas, an upgrade to the speeds (up to
180kbps) available on the existing GPRS systems ( 2.75G if you like)
via EDGE, often with modems substantially less expensive than 3G
equivalents, and continuing significant investment in the GPRS/2G
network - expansion and upgrades.
